I finally fulfilled my childhood dream of painting the walls (more than one color), which wasn't nearly as much work as Ted's job of ripping down all the wallpaper first. The top layer of wallpaper came off easily and smoothly, but the thick, red wallpaper underneath was incredibly stubborn and took weeks to pick away at. I wasn’t sure these walls would ever be ready to paint, and look at it now! Our basement home gym is still a work in progress, but is quickly becoming my favorite room now with this view - it may need to double as my new home office too. Who knows what mountain(s) you're looking at?
